December 2009 Chiropractor Career Report planetc1.com-news@11:47 am PST December 2009 is on its way out and January 2010 is quickly approaching. While chiropractors throughout the world will take time off during the holidays, adjusting Santa Claus and family, the topic of chiropractor careers and chiropractic employment will be back in the forefront when the new year kicks in. Scanning chiropractic classifieds posted during the past week, I expected to see several related to associate positions and vacation coverage, but I didn't realize there were so many work opportunities available for licensed doctors of chiropractic. In a single screenshot from a chiropractors classified advertising RSS feed, I noticed several offices that were hiring, along with a couple of individuals posting their availability to work as associates.

Developing a
Chiropractors Adjusting Space
I'd recommend for anyone developing any sort of service based business location to visit businesses in your geographical area that are outside of your professional niche. For example, visit your local Starbucks. Bring along a notepad and take some notes paying particular attention to the things that would cross over to your industry such as parking, ease of access from the front door to the point of payment, entrances and exits, efficient use of space, etc.

Chiropractic is
practiced throughout the United States. Every city, town and community
offers a unique chiropractors story. Being a chiropractor in Los Angeles is
no exception as many stories could be told about being a DC in LA. With
Los Angeles being a major metropolitan area, we may sometimes experience a
different sense of community than someone practicing in a small-town
community setting. This article focuses primarily on the Los Angeles beach
communities of Venice, Marina del Rey, and Santa Monica and the local
practice of chiropractor, Michael Dorausch.

Principled
Chiropractors Correct Subluxation
As principled Chiropractors, you’ve participated in many debates and
discussions regarding semantics within our profession. The most common is
the difference between using the words “adjustment” and “manipulation.”
Knowing that manipulate means “to control or influence cleverly, unfairly,
or unscrupulously” certainly steers us away from using the word to describe
anything about our beloved craft.

Chiropractic and Pregnancy
Care for pregnant moms
As I write this today, two of our beautiful practice members are awaiting
the arrival of new additions to their families. Adjusting women through
pregnancy is one of the most rewarding parts of our work, because a
healthier pregnancy means an easier labour and delivery, and a better
transition for the baby into this life.
