Parker College of Chiropractic student, Logan Sherman placed first in the annual Cowtown Marathon. The marathon consisted of 20,000 runners this year. Sherman established himself as an elite leader of the pack early on in the 32nd annual 26.2-mile run through the streets of Fort Worth, Texas.
Marathon Season is kicking off this weekend as Universal Sports has LIVE coverage this Sunday of the 2010 NYC Half Marathon and 2010 LA Marathon. The NYC Half Marathon brings together some of the great Marathon runners in preparation for the spring Marathon Season. Haile Gebrselassie and Deena Kastor look to lead the Elite Men and Women through the streets of New York City. Coverage begins on the Universal Sports Network at 7:30am EDT.

The 2010 Orange County event rocked as expected, and plenty of chiropractor turned out for continuing education and fired up chiropractic excitement. Consider this round one
White lightning flashed across the sky as the 2010 Dead Chiropractic Society (DCS) California Jam shaked the foundations of the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa California on March 12, 13th, and 14th. The continuing chiropractic education event was loaded full barrel with spizzerinctum. Chiropractors from across the globe, with the majority coming from the state of California, and a healthy number traveling from throughout the United States, dipped themselves in chiropractic philosophy and fellowship, while many renewed continuing education requirements for 2010 relicensing.
The Chiropractic Leadership Alliance (CLA) honored Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College and Parker Seminars, with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Patrick Gentempo, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CLA presented Dr. Mancini with the award at the 2010 Parker Seminar in Las Vegas.
The 3rd annual California Chiropractic Jam is taking place on March 12 and March 13, 2010. I received my ticket in the mail in February, hope you’re planning on attending, it’s going to be a blast.
