Tonight is a big night for television on CBS. Not only will the 2009 Grammy Nominations be airing at 9 p.m. Eastern (with a live concert event), the once a year chiropracticly approved postural event, better known as the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, will be airing at 10 p.m. Eastern time, featuring the Victoria’s Secret Angels and musical guest R&B recording artist Usher.

CBS television kicks off the evening with Grammy nominations for 2009 and a live concert event featuring Mariah Carey, John Mayer, the Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift. The 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs at 10pm Eastern and 9pm Central time.
This years 2008 fashion show from Victoria’s Secret was filmed at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel in Miami Beach, Florida on November 15, 2008. The show features the Victoria’s Secret Angels and a musical performance by R&B recording artist Usher. I’m told that Usher is no stranger to chiropractic, receiving care regularly when in the Santa Monica and West Los Angeles areas, and requesting chiropractors when on the road.
Admittedly, most people will be tuning in to see the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Angels, and the fashions they will be modeling on the runway. Current Victoria’s Secret include Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, Selita Ebanks, Miranda Kerr, Marisa Miller, and Doutzen Kroes.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel recently underwent a billion-dollar renovation and that hotel web site is here (www.fontainebleau.com). The Miami Beach Fontainebleau hotel is located at 4441 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140. There is a Las Vegas opening of the Fontainebleau hotel and casino expected to take place in April of 2009. Construction is currently underway.

Victoria’s Secret is expected to be launching a Spanish version of their website coming soon (espanol.victoriassecret.com), visit the 2008 Victoria’s Secret website (www.victoriassecret.com) for more information about the models, the show, the lingerie, and other products the company provides.
While the clothing may be skimpy, the wings, huge bows, and other fashions the Victoria’s Secret models are wearing during the fashion show, can put a strain on one’s spine. Chiropractors are given permission to watch tonight’s CBS programming if only for postural analysis and future discussion of risks versus benefits of wearing high heels on fashion model runways.
