Chiropractors across the United States have become more accustomed to using Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing as a way to attract new clients to their local chiropractic offices. Depending on the searchers location, results seen can vary, for example seeing ads for Florida Chiropractors when searching while in the state. If you’re doing PPC ad campaigns, it’s always good to review how others are approaching the market.
I’m visiting the Fort Lauderdale area while attending a conference and was noticing the specific localized ads appearing in my search results. 101 Ad Snippets For Chiropractic Advertising is a good place to begin for getting ideas as to what kinds of snippets are appearing in PPC ad campaigns. Like any other business engaged in PPC, the goal in most cases is to get viewers to click ads that match the products/services they are seeking.

What I found interesting in this first batch was the prevalence of spinal decompression advertising by local chiropractors. Decompression therapy must be hot in the area. It also looks to be a growing competitive space for chiropractors adding decompression services. Three ads specifically mention decompression and a 4th uses non surgical in ad copy. There is only one chiropractic school in Florida, but ads are appearing that advertise chiropractic education. Let’s take a look at another batch of ads…

South FL is similar to SoCal, which is short for Southern California. When creating ads for specific locations, it’s important to check what common terms may be used in an area, view chicagoland-chiropractors as an example. Board review services are non school related programs where chiropractic students can learn advanced techniques for passing state and national board examinations. On the topic of studying for exams, there was also advertising for xray continuing education.
The last search was interesting because it’s hard to see what kind of doctor is advertising until a click through is made. It could be a chiropractor, neurosurgeon, orthopedic doctor, general MD, or other health care provider. If you’re targeting ads to a local region, don’t forget the location.
