LAS VEGAS — Each year DCs and CAs from around the globe travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the largest chiropractic seminar in the world-Parker Seminars Las Vegas. This past week, more than 5,300 Parker Seminar attendees flocked to the fresh and exciting line-up of courses designed to improve chiropractors, chiropractic assistants, and chiropractic students.
“Attending Parker Seminars as a doctor of chiropractic for the first time has been truly awakening,” said Dr. Lee R. Hardin. “I came here with high expectations and I’m leaving with every one of them met. I also came here with the title of doctor of chiropractic and am leaving as a true chiropractor, empowered to teach chiropractic.”
Many of the classes offered continuing education credits on subjects like “Alzheimer’s Dementia Epidemiology and Prevention,” “Heart Rate Variability-the Technology that is Transforming Chiropractic,” and “Chiropractic and the Frozen Shoulder,” to name a few.
Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker University and Parker Seminars, delivered a powerful message, “Servant Leadership: Empower, Encourage, and Inspire” during the opening session.
“We’re asked to serve as leaders within our practices, with our patients, within our families and communities each and every day,” said Dr. Mancini. “As a leader, you must inspire others to reach new heights. You must encourage them by explaining that they already have the tools to be who they want to be, they just need to put those tools to use. Empowering yourself as the leader you’re meant to be will take you and your practice to a higher level of success and service.”
With more than 50 world renowned speakers offering expertise in all areas of life and practice, some of the key note speakers included, Dr. John Demartini, Dr. Rick Wren, Brandi MacDonald, Dr. Elizabeth Anderson-Peacock, Dr. Patrick Gentempo, Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, Dr. Carol Ann Malizia, Dr. Gilles Lamarche, Dr. Michael Hall, Dr. James Chestnut, Dr. Nicole Lederman, JJ Virgin, Lisa Speaks, Dr. Dan Murphy, and many more.
In addition, a line-up of world-famous authors from Hay House publishing, including Louise L. Hay, Cheryl Richardson, Marianne Williamson, Robert Holden, and Caroline Myss presented life-changing, inspirational messages.
Attendees also enjoyed the biggest chiropractic expo on the planet where more than 300 exhibitors displayed the profession’s most cutting-edge products and technologies.
The seminar also offered enlivening social events such as the Chiropractic Assistants Meeting and Breakfast, first-ever Parker Seminars Student Mastermind session, World Congress of Women Chiropractors (WCWC) Meeting, and more.
In addition to the speaker sessions, special events, and the exhibitor hall, this year’s seminar festivities featured the Starlight Soiree, which was held to raise proceeds for chiropractic research. The Soiree raised nearly $33,000 for chiropractic research.
Attendees left rejuvenated and ready to serve at an even higher level than before.
Parker Seminars will partner with the California Chiropractic Association and travel to San Diego, California, on May 4-6, 2012. To register or for more information about the seminar, visit http://www.parker.edu/sandiego/.
