DALLAS — Foot Levelers, a leading provider of individually designed stabilizing orthotics and other health care products, continues its long-standing partnership with Parker University to support the education of future doctors of chiropractic.

Over the years, Foot Levelers has donated significant funds and products to Parker University, contributing to the education Parker students receive in numerous ways. Parker University classrooms were named after Foot Levelers in honor of one of their largest donations, totaling one million dollars, to increase the technology capability in classrooms, including high-definition televisions and on-screen presentations.

Foot Levelers ParkerIn addition, they have contributed funds and Foot Levelers products to the Parker University Chiropractic Wellness Clinics, which has provided additional learning opportunities to Parker students and has enhanced the care patients receive in the clinic.

“My father, Dr. Monte, always believed one of the best investments you could ever make was in the mind of students,” said Kent Greenawalt, chairman and CEO of Foot Levelers. “It is an honor for me to carry on his tradition and help support chiropractors of the future.”

Foot Levelers’ stabilizing orthotics were invented nearly 60 years ago by Dr. Monte Greenawalt to balance the body by balancing the feet. Their stabilizing orthotics are individually designed to fit each patient. Feet, gait pattern, and postural makeup in the human body are all different, which is why each pair of stabilizing orthotics is engineered specifically to each patient. The orthotics provide structural support, yet allow the foot to retain a full range of motion.

Recognized as one of the biggest philanthropic families and companies in the chiropractic profession, the Greenawalt family and Foot Levelers have had a positive influence on nearly every aspect of chiropractic.

“Foot Levelers’ generosity has been instrumental in providing exceptional education to our students,” said Dr. Kenneth Thomas, vice president of academics of Parker University. “Their outstanding service to Parker University and the chiropractic profession overall, is something to be recognized and celebrated.”
