Life University as a Spearhead of Chiropractic Leadership in 2025

In March, the Institute of Alternative Futures (IAF) released its third in a series of futures reports titled Chiropractic 2025: Divergent Futures. The reports forecast potential scenarios in the chiropractic profession in the year 2025. As a part of their findings, the IAF recognized that if the profession of Chiropractic is to thrive by 2025, LIFE will be a chief contributor to the cause through their research, conferences, alumni programs and overall stance for the principles of Chiropractic.

Marietta, Georgia — In March, the Institute of Alternative Futures (IAF) released its third in a series of futures reports titled Chiropractic 2025: Divergent Futures.

Life University LogoThe reports primarily point to LIFE’s annual Octagon conference as a model for the profession in thought leadership and research, saying that it “seeks to reconnect Chiropractic with the larger field of vitalism.” As a matter of fact, LIFE is hosting its fifth annual Octagon conference this week from April 18-20.

One of the principal goals of the Octagon conference is to promote research of vitalism, the belief that the human body has the innate ability to be self-organizing, self-developing, self-maintaining and self-healing; however, its overarching mission is to lead the vital health care revolution by transitioning to a true health care system integrated with chiropractic care from the “sick care” system we have today. By becoming a global think-tank for the world leaders of Chiropractic, the Octagon is forecasted to be the center of research and development for Chiropractic both now and in the future.

The IAF report also noted LIFE’s strong alumni relations programs that, in one of their forecasted scenarios, are projected to increase enrollment in chiropractic colleges/universities over the next 12 years. With programs such as LIFEforce 1000, the University is taking proactive measures to spread the message of principled Chiropractic and take the profession to new heights.

LIFEforce 1000 is a program that is recruiting 1,000 chiropractors to serve the profession by recruiting at least five prospective chiropractors to attend Life University within the next five years, hosting student recruitment events in their hometowns and serving as advocates for Chiropractic and Life University.
