Today’s headlines on MSNBC Health read, “FDA deems chickenpox shot safe” and Yahoo’s Health News headlines read “Serious side effects of chickenpox vaccine rare.” Safe with rare serious side effects?

What is a serious side effect? Rashes and fevers as a result of the shot? Odd genetic mutations resulting in coarse monkey hairs growing out of the injection site? How about death, is that serious enough for you?
