Chiropractors on the Road to Excellence Pasadena

Palmer Chiropractic Clinics Receive Iowa Quality Award

The Palmer Chiropractic Clinics, which provide the clinical education for senior-level students of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, were recognized at the Governor's Recognition of Performance Excellence Celebration luncheon on May 5, 2011, in Des Moines. During the ceremony, Palmer Vice Chancellor for Clinic Affairs Kurt Wood, D.C., was presented the Commitment Award by Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds. Palmer was one of six Iowa organizations to be recognized.

Life University Rugby Team in National Championship Game

The Life University Running Eagles rugby team beat Boston 27-23 on Saturday to clinch a berth in the Rugby Super League National Championship game on May 21st. Life University will host the championship game on its campus in Marietta versus San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Club (SFGG), the 2009 national champions.
Parker Alumni Association Makes First Donation to Parker University

The Parker Alumni Association became the first donor to the newly renamed, Parker University, when the association presented a $5,000 check during a recent board of trustees meeting on campus. Dr. Vincent Scheffler '07, president of Parker Alumni Association presented the check to Mr. Bill Nardiello, chairman of the Parker University Board of Trustees and Dr. Fabrizio Mancini '90, president of Parker University, on behalf of its members.
University of Bridgeport Brings the World to Chiropractic

When we decided to create a chiropractic college within a comprehensive university, our vision was in part to bring the world to chiropractic. The future presidents of companies, future researchers, future CEO's, future politicians, future business owners, etc., all have one thing in common, an education from an academic center of excellence. Many chiropractic entities strive to bring chiropractic to the world and although we strongly applaud and support every effort to do so, we choose to fulfill that mission in part by positioning the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic (UBCC) in such a manner that the world comes to us.
Foot Levelers Partners with Life West to Advance Chiropractic Education

Foot Levelers, Inc., an avid and generous supporter of chiropractic education and the profession, has partnered with Life Chiropractic College West in a multi-phased project to be completed over the course of several years. This comprises the second $250,000 pledge of a donation totaling $500,000. The agreement includes a donation of orthotic scanning equipment, positioning imaging technology and expert training. Patients of Life West's health center will also benefit as they will receive educational materials, evaluation services and Foot Levelers products. Life West students will also gain access to the latest orthotic technology, and receive the in-depth clinical training needed to provide the highest level of care to their patients.
Parker College of Chiropractic Now Parker University

Parker College of Chiropractic announced it has achieved university status and will rebrand as Parker University. The Dallas-based school cites the name change as part of an expansion of current graduate degree offerings and programs with a focused long-term strategy of educating the world's top health care and wellness practitioners for today's changing health care landscape.
NPCO Running for Chiropractic in 2011 Chicago Marathon

Runners will be hitting the streets of Chicago this October when Non-Profit Chiropractic Organization (NPCO) fields its' largest charity team ever at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this fall. The October 9, 2011 event will be the third time NPCO participates in this world-famous race that brings together runners from all over the world.
