planetc1.com-news@7:08 pm PST Today's date marks 116 years since the first chiropractic adjustment was given in Davenport, Iowa. On September 18, 1895, it was Daniel David Palmer (the Father of Chiropractic) making a hands on healing connection and curing a deaf janitor named Harvey Lillard. The Ryan building janitor had been plagued by years of deafness following an injury, and the hands-on thrusting and realignment of spinal vertebrae, provided a miracle today known as a chiropractic adjustment.
planetc1.com-news@10:44 am PST Two chiropractic events are taking place in Los Angeles at the end of September, with one being held on the Eastside in Pasadena, and the other on the west side in Culver City, California. They may be local events to those practicing in the Los Angeles area, but chiropractors are traveling from across the country to come speak at the Friday Saturday event in Culver City. Both events are a great opportunity for meeting other local chiropractors, getting some spizz, and staying focused on practicing chiropractic and serving the masses in Los Angeles. |
