2008 Hotels Hosting Chiropractic Conferences

Small-business industries (like the chiropractic industry) are finalizing their conferences and continuing education seminars for the 2007 season. This is the time of year hotels are booked for holiday parties and festivities rather than professional advancement and educational seminars. Before you know it we'll be in January of 2008 and business professionals will be scheduling out plans for conferences to attend. While it's earlybird time and not everyone has yet posted schedules, an increasing number of 2008 chiropractic conferences are appearing in the Planet Chiropractic Seminar Database. Events can not only be searched and browsed via areas of interest, continuing education value, and title, users can select by hotel or resort.

Small-business industries (like the chiropractic industry) are finalizing their conferences and continuing education seminars for the 2007 season. This is the time of year hotels are booked for holiday parties and festivities rather than professional advancement and educational seminars. Before you know it we’ll be in January of 2008 and business professionals will be scheduling out plans for conferences to attend. While it’s early bird time and not everyone has yet posted schedules, an increasing number of 2008 chiropractic conferences are appearing in the Planet Chiropractic Seminar Database. Events can not only be searched and browsed via areas of interest, continuing education value, and title, users can select by hotel or resort.

Imagine you’re wanting a getaway to a nice hotel and you want to combine that trip with a value added conference, required hours of your continuing education credits (if you’re a chiropractor), or just network with old colleagues and friends. Here is a brief list of some of the hotels and locations I noticed were hosting chiropractic conferences in the 2008 season.

Las Vegas Hilton
2008 Las Vegas Parker Seminar

The 2008 Las Vegas Parker chiropractic seminar is going to be held on February 7 through February 9, 2008 at the Las Vegas Hilton. For those looking for a getaway (besides attending a great chiropractic conference) the Hilton features spa packages that include massage therapy, soothing body treatments, refreshing facials and skin care, and other services that will leave you feeling pampered and refreshed.

The Las Vegas Monorail is directly accessible from the Hilton Hotel and it allows travelers to quickly and efficiently move up and down the Las Vegas strip, putting many of the city’s favorite hotels and casinos in walking distance. Visit the Las Vegas Hilton Spa page and the conference and meeting room on the Hilton web site, for detailed information regarding spa services and conference center styled events.

Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa
Schofield Chiropractic Training 2008

The annual summer event put on by Schofield Chiropractic Training is taking place at Scottsdale’s Arizona Biltmore in 2008. Event is scheduled for August 1 and August 2, and while it’s expected to be hot (its Phoenix) this hotel makes a spectacular summer getaway. The Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa is known to many as the “Jewel of the Desert and the hotel is built upon 39 acres of property, which includes lush gardens, glistening swimming pools, and Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced architecture. Expect the main pool to be filled with vacationing chiropractors throughout the week, as many will bring staff and families to enjoy relaxing time in Arizona. The Biltmore features an award-winning spa, golf, resort dining, and plenty of shopping opportunities in neighboring Scottsdale. When visiting, be sure not to pass up viewing several of the $10 million+ homes that line the gateway to the resort.

During your visit, be sure to tell the management at the Arizona Biltmore that the staff from Planet Chiropractic says hello.

The Columbus
Arnold Sports Festival

The 2008 ICA Fitness Symposium and the The Arnold Sports Festival is being held on February 29 through March 2, 2008 at the Columbus (a Marriott Renaissance Hotel) in Columbus, Ohio. Not only do attendees have an opportunity to meet and take photos with Arnold Schwarzenegger, the current governor of California, they’ll have an opportunity to spend a few days at the luxurious Renaissance Hotel, located in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

This non-smoking hotel is located in the heart of the city’s business district, and it’s located near the Brewery District, the City Center Mall, and the Columbus Convention Center. If you’re into sports, body building, chiropractic, nutrition, or fitness, you’ll want to put this once a year event on your list of conferences to attend. Visit the Marriott Columbus Renaissance pages for more hotel related information.

Tempe Mission Palms
Schofield Chiropractic Training Tempe

Arizona’s Schofield Chiropractic Training program is holding three separate events at the Tempe Mission Palms in 2008. There will be a chiropractic meeting on February 16, October 4, and December 6, of 2008. The Mission Palms is located adjacent to Sun Devils Stadium and the hotel is a short trip from the Phoenix airport (PHX). There’s plenty of restaurants, clubs and bars (Tempe is a college town) within walking distance of the hotel property. The Tempe Mission Palms is located at 60 E 5th St, Tempe, AZ 85281

Sheraton Eatontown Hotel
New Beginnings for a New Future

The New Beginnings for a New Future Weekend is being held April 24 through April 28, 2008. This event is the premiere philosophy event of the chiropractic profession and it features dozens of chiropractor focused talks and presentations. The hotel and conference center is located nearby the New Jersey shore line and neighboring community of Red Bank. If you’ve never been to this part of New Jersey before and you’re driving, be sure to plan ahead for the jug handle turns that are typically made from the right lanes, when you want to go left. The Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is located at 6 Industrial Way East, Eatontown, NJ 07724

Dr. Michael Dorausch had a blog post regarding the 2008 chiropractic schedules back in November, and the number of conferences added has been increasing since.

If you are hosting a chiropractic conference in 2008, you may want to consider including information in the events database. Adding seminar, continuing education, and events information is free, giving your next chiropractic event the exposure it deserves, at a more than affordable rate.
