By Michael Dorausch, DC

Get continuing education credits & learn proven ways to grow your practice with a powerful mix of continuing education classes and non-CE programs focused on generating patients and practice success plus more than 50 leading suppliers to the chiropractic profession.

If you are a chiropractor practicing in the state of California and you are not already a member of the CCA, it's time to join. One of the many benefits is the free continuing education that is provided during the Annual Convention and Exposition, which this year will be held on June 10-12, in Reno Nevada. Did I mention that this continuing education event is free for paid CCA members? That's right, it's a no-brainer, even for a smart chiropractor like you.

All classes (71 hours total, 16 hours of chiropractic adjusting technique) are approved by the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners for continuing education (CA-A-11-04-5601). QME class submitted for QME continuing education credit approval, DWC provider #110.

Just like the 2010 convention, this year the event is at the Grand Sierra Hotel and Casino in Reno Nevada, a perfect location for California (and chiropractors from other states) to gather. On the blog pages, and mentioned there were some running trails for outdoor exercise, and a newly built Wal-Mart across the street from the hotel. There's also a Starbucks in the hotel, for those chiropractors that like to start their day with a mocha or some other caffeinated (or perhaps non-caffeinated) beverage. There's also coffee and beverages served inside the expo hall.

Don't forget about getting your fingerprints done if you are a practitioner in the state of California. Read this associated blog post for information on contacting the California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the CCA.
