DALLAS — Parker University College of Chiropractic recently presented $23,000 in scholarships to 18 students. The scholarships committee comprised of Parker faculty, staff, students, and alumni, select recipients based on anonymous applications, the student’s financial need, academic achievements, character, extracurricular participation, leadership, and more. The students were presented one of six types of scholarships including corporate partner, leadership, alumni, memorial, Parker Alumni Association, and endowment scholarships.

Parker Seminars held 2011 Parker Seminars Las Vegas – the largest gathering of chiropractic professionals in the world on January 13-15. More than 3,500 doctors of chiropractic and chiropractic assistants attended to learn innovative chiropractic technique and business practices. Nearly 365 exhibitors also participated in the seminar by displaying the latest industry products and technologies.

Parker leaders, Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic, and Dr. Gilles Lamarche, vice president of Parker Seminars traveled to Haiti where they served the people in the earthquake devastated country. Demonstrating Parker’s dedication in spreading chiropractic worldwide, the two provided much needed care for the people in the destitute country.

Parker College of Chiropractic announces 2010 chiropractic research grant opportunities for researchers in private practice or associated with an academic institution. Multiple grants are available and each will provide up to 5,000 dollars of financial aid in clinical research projects.
