A New Smallpox Vaccine From Abortions?

Web sites across the Internet are beginning to pop-up with news regarding proposed plans to create smallpox vaccines for the people of the US.

According to the Washington Post and a pro family news service, one of the companies that has been awarded a contract for the development of the new smallpox vaccines (Oravax/Acambis) may be using human fibroblasts (derived from aborted fetuses) in the production of the vaccines.

The proposed vaccine ingredients were posted to a CDC web site and according to news reports, “it was found that they intend the use aborted fetal cell line MRC-5 as the cell substrate for growing the virus.”

According to a pro-life spokesperson, the U.S. has quietly been producing vaccines from human cell lines derived from abortion for more than 30 years. The following six commonly used vaccines have reportedly involved aborted fetal tissue in their production: Polio, Rabies, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Chickenpox, and Hepatitis A.

Ever wonder where those scientific vaccine/drug numbers come from?

“During the Rubella epidemic of 1964, some doctors advised exposed pregnant women to abort their children. The resulting virus strain developed was known in the science world as RA/27/3, where R=Rubella, A=Abortus, 27=27th fetus tested, 3=third tissue explant.”
