A New Year and a New Beginning

By James Sigafoose

It is a new year and a new beginning for some of us. You don’t have to be afraid of the circumstances of life. You don’t have to be afraid of what may be coming down the road. Realize there is no power in negativity except that which you give it.

If you magnify negatives, then positives become small. If you magnify constructive thots, and God, then negatives will shrink. The more you talk about a problem, the greater it becomes. It may not be a big problem, but the more you think about it, the more you meditate on it and the greater it becomes.

Instead think and talk of the solution, and watch your faith, grow strong. Unless you begin to meditate and think on the solution, realizing you are a conqueror you will never get to the place of your desires. What is the Promised Land God offers us? It is the type of walk with God. And there are battles to be fought here. Some think the Promised Land refers to heaven. But that couldn’t be as there are no battles in heaven, thus it is the type of walk we have here.

Live right before God, and do what he tells us to do, including walk by faith in him. Sometimes we have to do battle. Not physical battle, but this battle is standing our ground in faith. We win the battle not with a physical sword, but a spiritual sword. Lets stop glorifying our defeats. Lets quit talking about what we don’t have, and begin to talk about what we do have, and what God has done for us, and be thankful for the privilege of living and being a chiropractor.

Let the new year of 2001, roar in as an abundant, peaceful, happy life. Those of you that go to the Gathering, and are on the systems, know that our focus is on abundance, and newness, and thankfulness. That we walk by faith not by sight, and depend on innate to run our physical bodies, and through innate mind, bring us our wants from the universe.

Pay off your debts, ask for forgiveness, and move on with a constructive mind and stay that way. Do all things that help people, and provides wealth for you and the family. Commit to being better, through exercise, good thots, living the principle, and study the philosophy of chiropractic.

Read the red print in the new testament, regardless of religions, and meditate on what the master was teaching. Join with us at the Boston Gathering, and commit to 7 in a row or more. Join the systems, and lets work towards changing our thinking, which is what is holding us up, or propelling us forward.
