Hayward, CA -- Life Chiropractic College West is honored to welcome Brigadier General Rebecca "Becky" Halsted, who will speak at our Friday Seminar on October 15. She is an avid, outspoken supporter of chiropractic care. General Halstead is currently on a media tour where she advocates expanding the availability of chiropractic care to all military personnel and their families.

Brigadier General Becky Halstead A highly decorated officer, Brigadier General Becky Halsted served a total of 27 years in the U.S. Army. In 2006, she became the first female Chief of Ordnance and Commanding General of the Army's Ordnance Center and Schools, responsible for the leadership development and institutional training of the second largest branch in the army with over 100,000 members of the Ordnance Corps. Known as an experienced and exceptional strategic planner, General Halstead was responsible for the base defense of five military bases, including Balad, Iraq that housed over 30,000 military members and civilians. She retired in 2008, as General Officer in the U.S. Army.

She says, "I also welcomed the opportunity to further serve my country by pushing the envelope and being a voice to open chiropractic care to all military men and women, and their families."
