Chiropractic Philosophy – A Battle Is What We Have

Dear fellow ChiropracTORS:
We must fight for freedom, for truth, and for life.

When I see, hear, or read about all of the afflictions plaguing us today, I feel the need to accomplish so much more. I see so much that needs to be done, so many truths to communicate, so many sick people for us to check and adjust.

I don’t know what gets you going, but I can tell you there is a reality outside of our chiropractic little world that knows our principle, and knows our philosophy, yet they promote a different art or a different practice altogether. The A.D.I.O. principle is being increasingly recognized.

Just last week our homeowners association sent out a letter. It basically stated that there is a beetle destroying a certain type of tree in our neighborhood. They went on to say that it is useless to try and spray the tree because the beetle only swarms the tree on rare occasions. They suggested that the only way for us to save the trees and prevent them from dying is to take good care of the tree; e.g. deep watering aeration, mineral replacement and so on. The arborist said that the beetles are only attracted to the trees that are sick. Huh, sounds like something we’ve heard from B.J. before: it is the soil not the seed.

I am tired of our principle being propagated without the art of chiropractic. It does our world no good to have the philosophy and science without the art. This is why the old timers have always said: our first priority should always be to teach and preach the message of the A.D.I.O. principle in the paradigm of the S.P.A. of chiropractic. Then we must always deliver the adjustment.

We must teach and preach the message without compromise. Always deliver the goods with that extra something. Together let us re-ignite the flames of passion for chiropractic. Real practice growth will only follow personal growth. Together with your presence, commitment, and energy we can change the world. It is all about speaking in truth with love and compassion.
