Either You Get It Or You Don't
planetc1.com-news email to the editor
By Dr. Rick Wren

Dear Colleagues and Friends, last weeks Parker seminar in Dallas was so inspirational. There were almost 2000 people at the beautiful Intercontinental Hotel in the Addison area. There were great classes and great fellowship. The overwhelming message to me was "either you get it or you don't."

I have been consulting with Chiropractors since 1985 on how I see a hundred patients a day. Back when I did not "get it" I thought all I had to do was teach procedure and every one would see a hundred a day. I noticed that I could teach perfect procedure to 100 people and only one would see a hundred a day. Ten of them would not go up in volume at all. And the other 89 would have varying levels of improvement, from 5 extra visits a day to 50 extra visits a day.

If you don't change what is going between the Chiropractor's ears, you do not change their practice. When you teach procedure, you can change some things between the chiropractor's ears. But "either you get it or you don't." It depends on the emotional status of the Chiropractor as to how much they "get it or they don't."

For example, if the chiropractor is about to close the doors, they will "get more of it sometimes, but sometimes they don't." If the chiropractor changes a life dramatically by adjusting them, they will "get more of it sometimes, but sometimes they don't."

If the Chiropractor comes from love, they will "get it" more than the chiropractor that comes from fear. They will also accept changes in procedure more as long as the changes are the truth and come from love. It is frustrating sometimes for me when a chiropractor tells me "I will try" because that means they did not "get it." There may not be enough time for the chiropractor to "get it" before they have to close their doors or consider changing their career.

But, I sleep a lot better now that I realize "either you get it or you don't" no matter how much I "got it." And when you think you "got it" you can still "lose it" if you don't respect what "you got." As promised I have attached the Day 2(ROF) script for those of you that are "getting it." My next message I will send the Day 3(financial ROF) script.

Hope to see you in Chicago on May 3rd, 2001 www.parkerseminars.com
