FDA Says Quit Using Drugs…

According to an article posted by ABC News, the FDA has warned Americans to quit using dozens of over-the-counter drugs that include phenylpropanolamine (PPA) which has been linked to an increased risk of hemorrhagic strokes.

Major drug stores across the United States including Rite Aid, CVS & Walgreen, began pulling dozens of over-the-counter drugs and diet pills off of their shelves due to the government warning, according to reports.

According to the ABC article, the FDA estimated that in the U.S., PPA could be to blame for 200 to 500 strokes yearly just in people under the age of 50.

A pill for this, a shot for that, a potion for the other… What drug or ingredient is it going to be next? There are people reading this that are taking drugs, there are people reading this that may be scheduled for surgery of some sort that perhaps don’t need it.

There are also people reading this that may think they don’t have any health problems because they don’t have any symptoms. Did you know that it can take 3 – 5 years before your body manifests any clinical symptoms of heart disease? And it can take many more years than that for clinical signs of cancer to appear.

Do you want your body to function at it’s highest level possible? You have a magnificent body, why not take care of it. And knowing what you know about drugs, doesn’t it make sense to you that people that don’t take drugs would be healthier than people that do take drugs?
