Headaches When Locating Some Archived Content

A Friday evening should not be spent searching one's web site for content that's difficult to find. A Friday evening should not be spent searching one’s web site for content that’s difficult to find. I was sifting through some news archives earlier today, preparing an article on 2008 politics and the chiropractic vote, and I was having a difficult time locating a piece or two authored by myself, search should be a lot easier than that.

Before I forget, big thank you’s to those of you sending e-mails this past week regarding 101 Ad Snippets For Chiropractic Advertising. I invested several hours in preparing that information and almost got it wasn’t going to make it to the website. Some kind soul in Lancaster convinced Dr. Mike that it was newsworthy and valuable content.

I was talking about search and how after your site loads up on content that sometimes more difficult to find where you put it. Like needles in haystacks. I didn’t find everything I was looking for, but I began stumbling across articles and pages from the years past, and I saved a few URLs (because I’ll probably have to go back and update some page content).

Yes, there was news earlier this week about a 2008 humanitarian trip to Panama, so when I came across these Photos from Costa Rica I thought “chiropractic mission trip”, time to organize and update pages (like this one from 1999).

Not related to Costa Rica or Panama, I was bitten by this computer mouse post and thought someone on PC should get a 2008 version of the article posted. The blessings of God and my regular chiropractic care have helped keep my umpteen hours a day keyboard tapping wrists (and everything else connected to them) in optimal functioning condition.

While searching something related to Nevada I came across this (huh, they’re writing about us?) and then this, but I was actually seeking this Vegas page. Note: we’ve got some work to do on the internal search algorithms. Time to clean the cobwebs.

And while I’m cleaning, this ritalin resort article requires paragraph reformatting, this student loan consolidation article is over consolidated (I know there was a photo there), and I trust there are more posts that may be missing original photo tags, but it’s Friday (and not the morning or the afternoon) so the updates will have to wait (besides, I’ve got a presidential post to work on). Live your weekend to the fullest and enjoy!
