Life West alumni adjust earthquake relief workers in Italy

Life West Chiropractic News Hayward, CA -- Graduates of Life Chiropractic College West are among the chiropractors volunteering to provide chiropractic care to earthquake relief workers in L'Aquila, Italy. The chiropractors are assisting under the auspices of the Association of Italian Chiropractors, with the permission of local relief authorities. The chiropractic teams were allowed into the area five days after the earthquake struck. Life West alumni in Italy who have provided relief shifts thus far include Drs. Daniel Rigel, Aris Allais, Corrado Semprini, Mauro Cento, Chris Cerrato, Patricia DeLuca, and Marcus DeLuca. Firemen and rescue personnel are receiving chiropractic care in two locations, one in the fire station of L'Aquila and one in nearby Coppito, the main coordinating hub of the relief efforts. Life Chiropractic College West, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, has nearly 4,000 graduates practicing world-wide. Founded in 1976, the college's mission includes a commitment to purposeful service. Life West offers the Doctor of Chiropractic degree through a four-academic-year program which includes an extensive clinical internship.
