The LA Weekly, a widely distributed Los Angeles paper, featured a very disturbing advertisement in it's April 6th edition. The ad was placed by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and featured a photo of a monkey tied to some sort of barbaric rack and a headline that read "Please have the backbone to stop this."The ad reads as follows: Animal experimentation is cruel, flawed science - for example,
prescription drugs, which are tested on animals for safety
and effectiveness, kill more than 100,000 Americans every year.
Yet the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) wants to cash in
by building an animal laboratory. Never mind that the application of
these test results will be, at best, risky. Never mind the cruelty.
Millions embrace chiropractic for its progressive approach to healing.
LACC's planned venture into animal experimentation threatens to crack
chiropractic's foundation of nonviolence and integrity.
Please write LACC and ask that it reconsider this ill-conceived plan and
promote healing without harming animals:

Well what can you say about LACC and Reed Phillips? Just one more example of the chiropractoids in the profession that are going down the path of failure. While the world is beginning to embrace the philosophy and practice of chiropractic as common sense, (examples to come in next weeks news) we have so called "leaders" in chiropractic going down these seemingly odd paths. Some key points to look at in the ad: Flawed Science, prescription drugs, 100,000 dead Americans yearly.
Schools like LACC want to CASH IN on the same FLAWED SCIENCE.
Chiropractic, a foundation of NONVIOLENCE and INTEGRITY.
Millions Embrace Chiropractic for it's PROGRESSIVE APPROACH to HEALING.
Even a monkey could figure out the trend here. (No offense monkeys)
