More Medical Error & Medication Related Injuries
planetc1.com-news email to the editor

According to an article out today from Cox news, a new study has found that "Medical error accounts for most of the frequent medication-related injuries in nursing homes."

When it comes to medical errors, "more than half could have been prevented" is what a new study says, according to the article.

By calculating estimated figures, the study suggests that "among the 1.5 million U.S. nursing home residents, there are at least 350,000 medication-related injuries annually and that the majority of those cases could be avoided."

The article mentions the "Institute of Medicine study" which has suggested that an estimated 40,000 to 100,000 deaths a year occur as a result of medical error.

Are we going to wait until our entire planet becomes a statistic? It's time for chiropractic.
