Western States Chiropractic College one of the oldest chiropractic schools in existence and 2009 is promising to be a time for change for this 104-year-old institution. During the next few months the school is expected to demo two outdated structures which will make room for a state-of-the-art anatomy facility. To the school also has plans to open a clinic in Gresham, Oregon, a city in Multnomah County located immediately east of Portland.

Besides the campus remodeling and the opening of a new chiropractic and natural health clinic the school will be seeking university status this year. Changing from a college to a university, will provide Western States the opportunity to serve more students seeking advanced degrees in anatomy, sports, and exercise science, while expanding its ability to receive research grant funds.

The campus exists in a mostly residential area and is just off of Interstate 84, only minutes away from Portland International Airport (PDX). Having a nearby major airport is an added bonus when planning to earn a degree as Doctor of Chiropractic, making travel opportunities to visit family and friends easy (at least when the Portland area is not being buried in snow). The WSCC Chiropractic Campus is located at 2900 NE 132nd Ave. Portland, OR 97230.
