Step #20 to a Hundred Chiropractic Patients a Day
planetc1.com-news email to the editor
By Dr. Rick Wren

The following are success principles intended for doctors and chiropractic. They are designed to help one better serve others in one's community.

Dear Colleagues and Friends, Step #20 to hundred a day (Always look, dress, and act successful) is actually advanced success principle #10. It surprises me how difficult it is to get doctors to do this one. Have you ever noticed someone walking into a restaurant and everyone is checking this person out. This person looks and acts like a "Winner."

Winners are noticed and admired when they walk in the room. People want to know who winners are. People want to associate with winners. Winners have habits that give them an aura.

So what is the difference between a Winner and a Loser? Winners are willing to do the things that losers will not do. That doesn't mean it is easier for a Winner, but they don't make excuses and "Just do it."

Below are a list of some of the things that a Winner does:

Dress For Success
• Always be the Best Dressed at all Occasions
• Have Good Hygiene
• Be Well Groomed

High Energy
• Exercise Regularly
• Good Nutrition
• Drink Half Weight in Ounces of Water Daily
• Get Plenty of Rest
• Get Adjusted Weekly
• Don't Use Tobacco or Drugs

Always On Time
• Be 30 Minutes Early
• Always Show up no matter what

Organized
• Accomplish a lot In One Day
• Use Organizer

Positive Mental Attitude
• Associate With Positive People
• Read Positive Material Regularly
• Listen To Positive CD's Regularly
• People Like to Be Around Positive People

Set Goals
• Lifetime Goals
• Annual Goals
• Monthly Goals
• Weekly Goals
• Daily Goals
• Hourly Goals

Present Time Consciousness (PTC)
• Totally Focused
• Good Eye Contact
• Good Listener is a Good Communicator

Decisive
• Make Quick Decisions
• Willing To Take Risks
• Not Afraid of Short Term Failures
• Overcome Adversity With Decisions

Love Thyself
• Love Others Unconditionally
• Help Others Unconditionally
• Love What You Do

Dedicate To Success
• Study Continuously
• Have Mentor or Coach
• Commit To Good Habits

Smile
• Positive Thoughts only when Smiling
• Physiologically impossible to have Negative Thoughts

Never Criticize or Gossip
• Avoid Gossip Minded People
• Most People Like Gossip, But wonder what is being said about them

Spiritual
• Loving and Caring
• Ethical
• Honest
• Trustworthy
• Loyal
• Thankful

After reviewing this list, ask yourself what areas could you improve on. I have worked hard on this list for 25 years, but there is still room for improvement. Make a copy of this list and put it on your bathroom mirror and make yourself a new "Winner" habit each week. Once you start a new habit stay committed to it. Twenty years ago I had to give my business cards away. Now when I go into restaurants, I have people ask me for my business cards.
