WCCS Regional Conference Called Game Changer

Life Chiropractic College West hosted the first World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) regional event which ran over the course of four days. Chiropractic students from 13 schools in four countries and two continents congregated at this special conference in Hayward, California. The event was recognized as a "Game-changer" for many of the attendees and prestigious guests. Some of the high-profile guests include Dr. Arno Burnier of MCQI, Research Director of NZCC, Dr. Heidi Haavik, President of Life West, Dr. Brian Kelly, Drs. Gerry Clum, Keith Overland, Joel Alcantara, Mike Flynn, Liam Schubel, and co-author of E-Myth Chiropractor, Frank Sovinsky along with several other renowned presenters.

Hayward, California – On May 3, 2012, Life Chiropractic College West hosted the first World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) regional event which ran over the course of four days. Chiropractic students from 13 schools in four countries and two continents congregated at this special conference in Hayward, California. The event was recognized as a “Game-changer” for many of the attendees and prestigious guests. Some of the high-profile guests include Dr. Arno Burnier of MCQI, Research Director of NZCC, Dr. Heidi Haavik, President of Life West, Dr. Brian Kelly, Drs. Gerry Clum, Keith Overland, Joel Alcantara, Mike Flynn, Liam Schubel, and co-author of E-Myth Chiropractor, Frank Sovinsky along with several other renowned presenters.

Sponsors included Life West, Standard Process, WFC, NBCE, ICA, ACA, IFCO, F4CP, CCA, and many others. The event tackled many hot topics concerning Chiropractic education, research, politics, and business while strengthening the unity amongst chiropractic students around the world.

Addison Bulosan, Life West student and key orchestrator, states, “While we hoped to make an impact with this event we never dreamed of it shaking the very foundation of how we serve as Chiropractors. The weekend took the best of the best from each chiropractic school and organization, and created an atmosphere of growth and understanding. The transformation that occurred at this event will contribute to the success of chiropractic for many years to come.”

The World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) is a non-profit organization representing the chiropractic profession internationally. Active membership consists of over 15,000 students from 32 colleges. Their purpose is to advance and unite the global chiropractic profession through inspiration, integrity, and leadership. The WCCS, which has been running since 1979, will meet on August 2012 for their annual conference to discuss issues pertinent to the chiropractic profession.

Life West, established in 1976, is an accredited non-profit institution of higher learning. Over 4,500 graduates of Life West are now providing chiropractic care worldwide. The college’s vision is to create a brighter future for humanity. The college’s Health Center, a public outpatient facility staffed by approximately 150 senior interns who are guided by licensed doctors of chiropractic, provides affordable health care to more than 1,000 patients per week in the city of Hayward, California. www.lifewest.edu.
