From WebMD comes an article titled, "Women Behaving Badly?" and the question is asked if that is reason for taking drugs.

The article features commentary from two chiropractors, Drs. Madeline Behrendt and Allyne Rosenthal. Dr. Behrendt is the vice chairwoman of the Council on Women's Health of the World Chiropractic Alliance and has authored several articles for Planet Chiropractic. Dr. Rosenthal practices in the Chicago area.

In the article, it is questioned whether the recently proposed mental disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is actually a real disorder. According to the article, PMDD is not officially accepted by the American Psychiatric Association as a disorder.

What has many concerned is that the drug of choice for this disorder is a product called Sarafem. According to WebMD, Sarafem is a "repackaged, relabeled version of the antidepressant fluoxetine hydrochloride -- better known to millions by the brand name Prozac." And according to the drug makers website, this disguised Prozac "helps you be more like the woman you are, every day of the month, even during your most difficult days."

Women should be looking for a natural approach if they want to be more of who they are, rather than a disconnected, distorted individual that is stoned out on drugs.
